What is Epic Ashland?
A dynamic alliance of Ashland business owners is on a mission to rejuvenate our beloved town, ensuring it thrives for all of the generations who call it home. Inspired by impassioned conversations among longstanding locals and entrepreneurs, Epic Ashland emerged with a powerful question: How do we make Ashland a vibrant haven once again, one that captures the spirit and energy families living here?
While existing organizations tirelessly promote tourism and economic development, there's a vital need waiting to be met—an organization solely focused on nurturing the dreams and aspirations of our younger generations. Thus, Epic Ashland was born, dedicated to empowering the next generation and crafting a future where Ashland remains their cherished home.

Our mission is to bring fun, joy, and excitement to the people of Ashland, fostering a community where families proudly declare their love for living here. We aim to promote the wide variety of amazing opportunities and resources in our area. Serving as the catalyst for a progressive movement that creates events to unite our community, showcases local talent and the reasons we cherish our hometown.
As a group of local business owners, we pledge to bring our ideas of family-friendly, fun events to our community, gathering job-creators to share visions and turn ideas into reality. Together, we will enrich our community by supporting events and activities that give Ashland locals even more reasons to love where they live.
Why are we putting on these concerts?
Lithia Park, a defining feature of our town, boasts the underutilized gem known as the Bandshell. Situated along the I-5 corridor, Ashland often plays host to numerous musical groups, both passing through and local talents. Recognizing this opportunity, why not utilize the Bandshell to showcase these musicians as they journey through our town? With its prime location in the park and an abundance of talented artists already in our midst, the Bandshell presents an unparalleled venue. Imagine a warm summer evening where families gather in the park, enjoying music from various acts while indulging in food carts and a beer garden—a perfect recipe for creating cherished memories and fostering a deep love for our community. Our vision is to create an inclusive event that breaks down barriers to community access, emphasizing a progressive approach that combines art, the outdoors, and a celebration of healthy lifestyles. Let's come together to organize events that are not only fun and entertaining but also serve as a unifying force, strengthening our bonds as a community.
Other Ideas Epic Ashland is working on?
The concerts are the pilot, a place to learn and grow from. 2025 is expected to see additional concerts during the summer to expand the opportunities to enjoy the town we live in and love. Beyond this there are many other ideas that take advantage of the great things this city already offers (music, trails, food, wine, etc). Some of the ideas in being worked on: Pumpkin Carving in the Park, Mutli-Sport Relay Event (ie Pole, Pedal, Paddle), Community Dinner Down Main Street, Comedy in the Park, Chalk Art Challenge.
